somewhere where the stars
shone over head so bright;
that it blocked out the moon.
<he said that dreams were made
to be broken and that she should
get her head out of the clouds
because it isn't gonna happen>
She said that rules were meant
to be broken [but] not bent
and that sometimes you
just have to work for what
you want
<he said that working and hoping
were two different things, and
dreamers should just
wake up>
She said that the sun smells
like summer flowers and
the rain tastes like salty
tears and
she didn't want to see him
again.
<he said that the sun doesn't shine
and that he was sick and tired of
how the stars shone over head
at night; how he couldn't see
his lady lune no more>

tired of explaining of
crying; of tears; of
wishes; of hopes;
of dreams

decide to appear; shadows
are much scarier than the
dark

its strongest when it disappears
into the open ocean; where it
loses its strength to its older
sibling only to find more power
than it ever dreamed>

you have to throw the rock
to the bottom of the lake;
destroy the calm; the quiet;
before you realize just how
powerful you really
are.
and she believes that
one person can make
a difference.

This just came to me, thinking about the stars. Sorry that its... Messy(? ) that's the word I think I want. Not sure. It's just a bit off.. Probably because its 1 AM and my thoughts are racing.
